NSight Tegra VS Slow Deploy

So, I have a fairly large project I’m in the process of porting to the Android and our data is currently roughly 500MB.

It takes about 3 and a half minutes to build the APK and an additional 2 minutes for deploy. This round trip is not great.

Is there any tips to reduce the round trip time? Is there a way for the tools not re-build the APK if the data remains the same? Is there away I can put the data on the device and leave it there, perhaps not in the main APK?

Any ideas would be helpful.

Hi Jeff,

Unfortunately, at the moment we cannot reduce neither the APK building time, not the deploying time. We use standard Android tools for these operations and the times you mention are rather expected for a big project like yours. You may have some luck with APK expansion files, though, here’s an article about them on the official Android Development site: http://developer.android.com/google/play/expansion-files.html
