nvapi for Mac?

Hi everybody!

Let’s keep it short: What about nvapi for Mac OS X:
http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nvapi.html

I really would like to use it, but I can’t get it to work. I just get “ld: symbol(s) not found” errors. It seems as if ld just ignores the “nvapi.lib”.

The question is: What can we do about it?

Greets.

PS: Yeah, I know it offtopic, but this is the only mac forum i found.

These files are for Windows only.
Perhpse you should contact supprt (with NDA stuff) to get Mac version.

Do you think a mac version exists? I opened the help file and most functions are said to work on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. The header file however says it’s only for windows. I don’t get the point of this approach…

Signing up for NDA seems like a good idea. I’m just not yet sure, what my application should look like, since I just intend to experiment. I do not have any specific goals (yet).

There is no plan to release NVAPI for MacosX.

I see. Thanks for finding this out.

Is there a way how to access same functions on Mac of Linux what man can do with nvAPI in Windows?

I need a temperature sensor data under Linux and may be later Mac. Do I have any chance to get this info out from OS driver? External Media

Thanks!
