I’m hardware triggering 6 cameras and I’ve had to enable the infinite timeout for nvargus:
sudo enableCamInfiniteTimeout=1 nvargus-daemon
but now whenever my application crashes (for whatever reason), the nvargus-daemon freezes up and does not work, even after restarting it.
The only solution I’ve found is to reboot the whole device (Xavier NX).
Is there a solution that does not require rebooting the device?
What’s the BSP version?
Did you try on J5.0.2?

Jetpack 4.6.1 / 32.7.1
We can’t update our jetpack version unfortunately.
Without enableCamInfiniteTimeout still able reproduce the problem?

No, the problem only occurs with enableCamInfiniteTimeout.
Any reason to use enableCamInfiniteTimeout, this mode are debugging only.
Thanks
