Hi All,
Thought I would post here before taking the device back to have it replaced, as something is bugged out. The flashing of 3.2 seemed fine. When cloning the jetson-inference tutorial and running anything that uses the onboard camera, all that is output is a green screen, followed by an internal system error indicating nvcamera-daemon crashed. It keeps having over and over and Ive spend upwards of 40 hours flashing this damn thing, just for the same result. The last time i used 3.1 hoping that would help, but no same exact result. nvcamera-daemon just crashes.
Now i am far from an expert on this, (yet), but here are the facts that I know for 100% certain:
- We purchased a tx2 at work, flashed it with the 3.2 dev version before prod came out.
- jetson-inference tutorials ran fine
- I got one at home to test outside of work
- Flashed exactly the same as the work one
- nvcamera-daemon crashed with SEGENV or segmentation faults over and over and over…
So im guessing the problem is either with this hardware i received or something else as these tutorials should just work, is there anything i can perhaps try before going crazy and tossing it out the window?
