"nvdisasm -hex" in CUDA-9.2 does not work

hi.

“nvdisasm -hex” does not work on some binary.

$ cat kernel.cu
__global__ void kernel()
{
}
$ nvcc -arch sm_61 -cubin kernel.cu -rdc=true
$ nvdisasm -hex kernel.cubin
nvdisasm fatal : Memory allocation failure

without “-hex” option, it works correctly.

$ nvdisasm kernel.cubin
	.headerflags	@"EF_CUDA_TEXMODE_UNIFIED EF_CUDA_64BIT_ADDRESS EF_CUDA_SM61 EF_CUDA_VIRTUAL_SM(EF_CUDA_SM61)"

//--------------------- .nv.info                  --------------------------
	.section	.nv.info,"",@"SHT_CUDA_INFO"
	.align	4

	//----- nvinfo : EIATTR_MAX_STACK_SIZE
	.align		4
...

I believe this is a known issue in CUDA 9.2 and will be fixed in a future release. You’re welcome to file a bug at developer.nvidia.com if you wish.
