NVIDIA 450 External Monitor not deteced

I have a laptop running on Ubuntu 20.04 (kernel 5.4.0-42-generic) with the NVIDIA-450 graphics installed. Everything runs great but I have a little issue with my External Monitor which is connected through a HDMI USB-C Hub. The issue is that the monitor is not recognized at all. But when I’m using the Intel GPU (i915) the screen turns on (not using the NVIDIA-GPU), so the USB-C hub is not broken…

Anyone ideas? Any help/direction is appriciated!

I have a similar issue with a usbc to vga dongle (also using alternate mode). For me unplugging and re-plugging works. I find that I need to disable the typec module in the kernel though.
