Nvidia 510.* drivers ignore the built-in display

Hello!
On a new Ubuntu 21.10 laptop the Nvidia 510 driver ignores the built-in display. Basically, I need to do “prime-select intel” if I want a built-in monitor, or “prime-select nvidia”, if I want working CUDA and external monitor. It happens with both Nvidia-provided installer and standard Ubuntu packages. Currently I use 510.60.02, but 510.47.03 had the same issue.

Hardware: Asus ROG Zephyrus GU603, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU

Kernel too old for your 12th gen intel igpu. Please use the liquorix ppa to upgrade.
