Nvidia C1060 + NVS290 Double Nvidia card on linux trouble, kernel oops

Hi!

We recently bought at work a Fujitsu CELSIUS R670-2 Workstation. The project assumes that this workstation will be used for computing. The workstation has to be running on Linux. It uses following Nvidia graphic cards:

GPU computing card: NVIDIA® TeslaTM C1060, 4 GB, PCIe x16
Professional 2D: NVIDIA® Quadro® NVS 290, 256 MB, PCIe x1, 2x SL DVI-I

So far I was trying a number of Linux distributions, such as:

CentOs 5.5 (this is equal to RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.5), kernel 2.6.18 + Nvidia drivers (260.1912, 260.1914 (developers edition), 190.53, 256.53)
Fedora Core 13 (kernel 2.6.32, 2,6,34) + Nvidia drivers (260.1912, 260.1914 (developers edition), 190.53)
Ubuntu 10.04 Server edition (kernel 2.6.31) + Nvidia drivers (260.1914 (developers edition), 190.53)
Fedora Core 10 (do not boot)

On non of the following configurations I was able to start x server property with nvidia driver turned on in xorg.conf.
Moreover on some configuration I was getting the Kernel Oops:
“kernel Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP nvidia”
“unable to handle kernel paging request at”

After that the screen always went black.

The xorg.conf is configured correctly - it works for nv driver and I can get display.
I am in a serious trouble right know and run out of ideas. Any help appreciated.

Best regards
Romek
