Issue Description

Is there any way to monitor GPU power consumption on Drive Agx Thor while running inference?

Please refer to Power Measurement Tool — NVIDIA DriveOS 7.0.3 Linux SDK Developer Guide

Hi kayccc,

Thanks for your response!

I have a DRIVE AGX Thor Developer Kit (940-63960-0013-000)
with pre-installed DRIVE OS 7.0.3.0-41012141. I didn’t find the
pre-built power measurement tool “tegra-power-sensing.linux”
on the Dev Kit mentioned in the document.

Meanwhile I have pulled the docker image “nvcr.io/drive/driveos-sdk/drive-agx-linux-nsr-aarch64-sdk-build-x86:7.0.3.0-0010” but there was no folder “drive-foundation/tools/power_measurement” available and there was no binary “tegra-power-sensing.linux” found either.

Thanks,
Jie

Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I will check internally and update you.

Hi SivaRamaKrishnaNV,

Thanks so much for your help!

I was wondering if there would be any updates available at this time.

Thanks!
Jie

I see it is not available in 7.0.3 release. May I know if it blocks your development?

Hi SivaRamaKrishnaNV,

Yes, we want the power measurement tool to help profiling power consumption while inference is running.

Thanks,
Jie

Dear @jie.yin.ah ,
You need to contact your NVIDIA representative for this. May I know if you have access to NVONLINE?

Is there any plan to make the power measurement tool available soon for Thor release as described in the docs? We do not have access to NVONLINE. Thanks!

Dear @jie.yin.ah ,
Yes. it will be available in future DRIVE OS Devzone releases. But, We don’t have visibility on the release schedule. If it is critical for your development, please reach out to your NVIDIA representative.
