Hi there,

I am planning to use the same power supply module from TDK [link here]. Following the planned schematics, we were planning to power with cables to the corresponding V+/V- terminal with ground. However, due to the design of the carrier board, we are planning to connect the wires to a DC plug. One concern we have, if we do not have any adapter or surge protector like the cable provided, is it advisable to run 19VDC with MAXN mode for the Dev Kit?

Would you have any advice for this? Should we just use the conventional USB-C power supply? Providing the screenshot schematics of our proposed design here.

If you use something like that TDK power supply, you should account for filtering, protecting against overvoltage (since that is near the 20V recommended operating maximum) and overcurrent, and shielding. A USB type C power supply that already accounts for many of these factors may be another option.
