Nvidia Jetson Orin NX Module to/from communication with Industrial HMI in a PLC

Hello,
I want to accumulate data from a HMI of a PLC on cloud or a on-premise workstation. HMI have ethernet option and I can remotely access the HMI for remote access through port forwarding (TCP/IP).
As the HMI have ethernet port, I was wondering if Nvidia Jetson Orin NX Module 8GB can serve as a gateway device to send data from the HMI to a cloud, and then send the predictions from the model running in the cloud to the HMI.

Has anyone tried this yet?

Hi,
Please check if it can be supported on Ubuntu 20.04. The latest release for Orin NX is Jetpack 5.1.2 and the sample rootfs is Ubuntu desktop with 20.04. If the use-case is supported in the environment, it is supposed to work.

We don’t have experience in the use-case and it would need other users to share suggestion.
