Figure 1. The 50x87mm embedded Jetson TX1 module and thermal plate, featuring integrated Maxwell GPU, ARMv8 CPU, and H.265 video processor. Today NVIDIA introduced Jetson TX1, a small form-factor Linux system-on-module, destined for demanding embedded applications in visual computing. Designed for developers and makers everywhere, the miniature Jetson TX1 (figure 1) deploys teraflop-level supercomputing performance…

Hello Dustin, in your article you mention that the TX1 Developer Kit includes a 5MP camera board, and I can see it on Figure 4. But if I go on the official nVidia TX1 Developer Kit page, I see nothing mentioning a camera board. Do you have a link to official information about this? Thanks ! :)

Thank you, the 5MP Camera Module (with Omnivision OV5694 sensor) does indeed ship with each JTX1 Developer Kit. It comes pre-installed on the reference carrier. This page does call it out (we are adding it to others): http://www.nvidia.com/objec...

Thanks ! :) Do you know if there's any equivalent (camera + connector) from nVidia, for the TK1?

For Jetson TK1, you can get the e-CAM130_CUTK1 from E-CON Systems, available here: http://www.e-consystems.com...

Love to see how VisionWorks works....

What are the dimensions of the developer board?

Dustin,
Would the pcie x4 support a standard adapter (ie. http://www.addonics.com/pro... to add a m.2x4 -m key to add larger/ higher speed storage

The Jetson TX1 Developer Kit Carrier Board is 170mm x 170mm.

Yes, in theory the PCIe adapter you linked to should work with the devkit.

Hi Dustin..and everyone else

Excuse me if I duplicate my post, but I can't see it in this forum. I want to know if it would be possible to run Windows applications on Jetson TX1 using NVIDIA GRID 2.0 in between (it is an VMware layer, isn't it?)
Sincerely

Hi Dustin,
I couldn't find any references to an Omnivision OV5694 sensor anywhere. Are you sure that's the right one?

You're right, its OV5693 -- http://www.ovt.com/products...

Thanks!

Hi Dustin

Is there any M.2 key E 4G/wifi/BT/GNSS data card can be supported on jetson X1?

Can you tell me how much memory L4T needs? Absent any user applications, just the OS memory footprint size.

hi
can i ask to you about "hetson tx1 developer kit" datasheet?
i want to this struct size. .. please let know me.

hi i wish to know about the heat sink part details of the jetson tx1 board do any one know about the heat sink part number from cool master

Using the recent L4T R24.1 aarch64, after boot the memory consumption is 869 of 3994MB.

Hi, here is link to the datasheet: http://developer.nvidia.com...
