NVIDIA logo blinking on first boot

I used my macbook and followed the Write Image to the microSD Card steps here:https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/learn/get-started-jetson-xavier-nx-devkit#prepare
I did the Etcher Instructions and the image appeared to write successfully. I then ejected it, plugged it into my Xavier, plugged in HDMI to my monitor, plugged in power cable, and hit power button.

When it powers up, it gets to NVIDIA logo screen, goes black, and then repeats between logo and black screen indefinitely.

What might be causing this and how can I fix?

  1. To fix this, you need to find a ubuntu 18.04 x86_64 host and flash your board with sdkmanager.
    NVIDIA SDK Manager | NVIDIA Developer
