NVIDIA Logo Stretching Issue on AGX Orin EV Kit

Hello Team,

I have been working on the AGX Orin EV Kit with Jetson Linux 35.5.0 (JetPack 5.1.3). The NVIDIA logo appears stretched whenever the system boots and reboots. This issue has been observed multiple times, and it occurs even on a default JetPack installation without any customizations.

Could you please help me understand why this is happening and what might be causing it?

Try to change the monitor screen resolution to diff settings and check

I have changed the resolution settings, but the issue remains the same. I am using a 2K display.

Hi,

Please share the log as follow:

  • /var/log/Xorg.0.log
  • The output of lsmod saved to a file: lsmod > lsmod.txt
  • The output of dmesg saved to a file: dmesg > dmesg.txt
  • ps aux | grep gdm3

Also could you try to flash to the latest version (5.1.5) to cross check?

I have tested all JetPack 5.x versions that support the Ubuntu 20.04 root filesystem. the same logo stretch issue.

Could you try JP6.x latest version (JP6.2) to cross check whether the issue exist?

Hello,

JP 6.x requires an Ubuntu 22.04 host, which we do not have, and we are not planning to migrate to JP 6.x for our AGX Orin at this time. We are currently sticking with JP 5.x as we have already developed applications for this version.

Could you please help us resolve this issue within JP 5.x?

Hello Kay,

The issue still exists. I have tried with the EV kit and custom boards with different JP5x versions. As of now, we do not have any plans to upgrade to JP6x as you suggested. If you could help us resolve this with the current JP, it would be a great help.
