Nvidia Manufactured ARM® Cortex®-A57 and GPU (not dev board) Datasheet

I need that datasheet to do development. It is not the datasheet for the development board, but the CPU and GPU…can i just use the generic ARM® Cortex®-A57 datasheet for this?

Usually the manufacturer would provide a datasheet for the CPU specifics based on ARM design. My previous experience was with TI, they have excellent datasheet, so I am not sure that is the case for Nvidia. Also it would be great to have the datasheet for GPU as well, in particular the detailed descriptions for registers.

Thanks.

Hi blp_engineer, please refer to the “Tegra X1 (SoC) Technical Reference Manual”, available for download from here:

Got it. Thanks dusty_nv

In my experience, you don’t get that from any of the desktop GPU vendors.

(Surprisingly, Intel has a fairly open documentation policy for their open-source IGP drivers, but it’s still not a full programming manual that you could write your own driver based off of.)
