NVidia Quadro K620 through ExpressCard interface doesn't work

I’ve got an NVidia K620 Quadro, which I am trying to connect to my Linux HP EliteBook 8470p via an EXpressCard interface. It powers up when inserted, and shows up in lspci output, but the nvidia-driver-550 says something like

NVRM: BAR1 0M @0x0 assigned to your device is invalid

in the kernel log upon boot. I already have Legacy Boot disabled, tried with both ExpressCard Generation settings (1 and 2) in the BIOS, got pci=realloc in the kernel parameters, so I really don’t know what else I could try … please help !
