Please uninstall the intel driver, delete /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf
then follow this:

After installing a proprietary driver from Nvidia. Nvidia-settings is working and it is also showing my tv in the settings as HDMI-1-0 (SONYTV). I am able to see the login screen on the tv. but once I try to log in it just comes back to the login screen again saying failed to start the session. I am attaching the latest report log. please check and help me.
