NVIDIA-SMI 0 Devices found even though drivers installed successfully

Hello!

I am not able to use my NVIDIA graphics card even though my Software/Update App shows that it is installed.
Here is an image showing the error.

I am also not sure how to generate the logs so If guided I can share the logs too.
I have tried installing the driver through all means yet doesn’t exist on the system.
Graphics that exists: RENOIR (renoir, LLVM 15.0.6, DRM 3.42, 5.15.0-60-generic)
OS : Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
GNOME: 42.5

Thanks!

To create the logs, please run
sudo nvidia-bug-report.sh
and attach the resulting nvidia-bug-report.log.gz file to your post.

Here are the files:

nvidia-bug-report.log.gz (124.5 KB)

Thank you for help!

I have uploaded the logs!
thank you!

Feb 14 19:20:03 arthrow kernel: NVRM: 0000:01:00.0: Failed to create a DMA mapping!

This is rather odd. Please remove pci=nocrs from the kernel commandline and create a new nvidia-bug-report.log

Here:

nvidia-bug-report.log.gz (125.3 KB)

There’s still nocrs set.

Hey i had updated the GRUB. Is there anything else I should do?

nvidia-bug-report.log.gz (364.2 KB)

Hey! Logs after restarting PC.

The nvidia gpu is working now. Any issues remain?

Oh! I just checked yeah! It is working now!
Thank you!
My wifi also started working now which wasn’t earlier!

Though my PC hangs a little in between. Can you recommend something for that?
Also can you explain what the issue was?
Thank you again!

There’s nothing visible in the logs which would point to any kind of delay. What “hang” are you noticing at which point?

I am just operating my system but screen freezes for 3 second every 4-5 minutes. It doesn’t matter what I am operating be it Firefox or terminal or directory, the screen freezes for 3 second.

This started as soon as I edited the GRUB file, rebooted the system.

Please set kernel parameter
nvidia-drm.modeset=1
and reboot. If it’s still freezing, create a new nvidia-bug-report.log after it happened.

Have updated as your recommended.

No screen freezes as of now!
Thank you for help!

The freeze is happening still.

Though the time of freeze has decreased and frequency has dropped too!
