Nvidia-SMI not finding my Nvidia driver on Linux, Pop!_OS. Microstuttering occurs with the GPU (Intel doesn’t cause this). Nvidia worked on Windows 10

As the title says, I am running Pop!_OS version 22 (previously used Ubuntu, which had the same problems) and I can’t locate my Nvidia GPU. Nvidia-SMI gives an error that it can’t find the Nvidia driver. My driver version is 550, and the GPU is a GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile / Max-Q. I have CUDA installed. Strangely, everything worked fine on Windows, so this might be a Linux conflict.

Another issue is that when using the Nvidia GPU, microstuttering occurs every 5 seconds, which is very frustrating. I’m unsure if the GPU is actually being used because the performance is similar to my Intel integrated graphics. It’s possible that Nvidia isn’t being used at all. I’ve attached the bug report file.

I successfully resolved the issue. In the BIOS menu, I changed the setting from UEFI with CSM to UEFI only, and now I am able to use Nvidia-SMI.
