NVIDIA-SMI not showing up the GPU

I have nvidia quadro P 5000. It is not showing anything via nvidia-smi and tells no device found. Have tried different slots, tried cleaning however results are still same.

Note: When I do lspci -vv | grep nvidia , it detects nvidia gpu card.

Hi,
Not sure it applies to your situation, but I had a similar issue with RTX 5070 Ti and fixed it by using the open drivers nvidia-driver-570-open instead of the proprietary nvidia-driver-570. Hope that helps.
