I have a laptop with GeForce GTX 1050 card and Ubuntu 20.04 which could run CUDA smoothly. However, there was an issue with my SSD so i installed Ubuntu 24.04 on a portable HDD. Despite the same nvidia driver version, I got an error in power consumption.
