Hi, everybody, I have never run NVIDIA Visual Profiler successfully for my applications and I don’t know why.
In an application, I wrote several cuda code files, in the main function, data is read from an txt file and processed by cuda kernel, the total running time is about 300ms in release mode.The GPU of my PC is GT640. Then I try to profile the performance of the .exe file follow the steps in the NVIDIA Visual Profiler guide. But several minates later, it still running and showing “generating timeline”. I don’t know is this condition normal and whether some special setting need to be set.
Does anybody know how can I get the result?
