NVMe SSD compatibility for AGX Orin DevKit

Hi.

I want to use an NVMe SSD as an external drive to expand storage capacity on Jetson AGX Orin DevKit. I don’t mean to use it as a boot drive.
I have two types of NVMe SSDs below to attach on M.2 slot:
No. 1: Kingston SSD NV1-E 500GB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 3.0×4 SNVSE/500G
No. 2: Kingston SSD NV1 500GB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 3.0×4 SNVS/500G

I can use No. 1 without problem, but when I use No. 2, Orin takes too much time to boot and can’t recognize the NVMe after boot.
JetPack I use is 5.0.1 or 5.0.2 and there is no difference.
As far as I remeber, there is a workaround article on the web which shows the way to manage to recognize NVMes which can’t be recognized at first. Unfortunately, I can’t find the web now.

Are there any way to use No. 2 NVMe ?
Thanks.

Hello @WayneWWW,

  1. Kingston 120GB

How can i solve this issue?
