nvvp: how to count DRAM memory accesses ? in Fermi.

nvvp: how to count DRAM memory accesses ? in Fermi.
Because of L1, L2 cache, it is very difficult to find the “actual” number of DRAM memory accesses.
I tried to find in the nvvp events list, but it was not easy to understand.

  1. Can anyone give me suggestions ? Thanks!

  2. Where are the events descriptions for nvvp ? I wasn’t able to find any…

Read the help again, there are signals that count the total number of gld requests of different sizes, if that is what you are looking for. There are also dram_ counters that count the number of requests that actually go out to DRAM.
