NX +PI7C9X2G606PR+uPD720202 loss pcie device

Hi Sir,

We use PI7C9X2G606PR switc pcie1 to 3 pcie X1 ports, 3 PCIE X1 link 3 uPD720202 IC,when boot or reboot there will loss pcie device.then we use (echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/rescan) command sometimes can enumerate all pcie device,but sometimes will report error:

How did you confirm that the patch is indeed applied? Could you please add some prints around the patch and check that those prints are coming in the log?

I found as long as the xhci driver called readl(), it must enter the above error now.

In our local testing, the patch attached did help to over the issue you had initially faced. Please make sure that the patch is indeed applied correctly. I’m afraid there is nothing that we could do as the issue seems to do with a specific card

I’ve beening testing the different cards with renesas chip. This issue do not be reproduced on some cards. It should be like you said.
