Omniverse Create has blank viewport

Hello! I’ve been trying to get the Linux version of Create to work on my system. It installs, but upon opening, I’m greeted with a blank viewport, and an essentially useless program. There seems to be a memory leak as well; leaving Create open for long enough will freeze my entire system until the app crashes, or I SSH in remotely and manually kill the process for the app.

Everything else on my system works just fine, RTX-wise (can use Quake 2 RTX with no issues, for example). I’m at a loss as to what’s going on here, or what I could do to fix it. If someone has any advice, I’d appreciate it! Thanks

Hi @suchtailpoof! Welcome to the community! Looking at our Linux troubleshooting documentation, it looks like you may be running into this problem: Viewport is gray and nothing is rendered.
This means that RTX renderer has failed and the reason of the failure will be printed in the full .log file as errors, such as an unsupported driver, hardware or etc. The log file is typically located at /home/USERNAME/**/logs/**/*.log

Okay, I seemed to have tracked down the error to (strangely enough) the LED controller on my mainboard. For some reason, the LED controller was registering as a joystick with the OS, and that was interfering with initialisation of the vulkan device. There were some additional problems with IOMMU that resolved once IOMMU was disabled in BIOS; unfortunately, Create still remains unusable due to “out of memory” errors. It spams errors until the program finally crashes out:

This behaviour doesn’t manifest under Windows, only Linux, so I’m not sure exactly why Windows feels there’s enough memory, but Linux doesn’t. I’m out of ideas over here for getting this working under Linux.
