Omniverse Enterprise Licensing

I’m trying to fully understand the Omniverse Enterprise licensing model. From what I’ve gathered, we need to purchase one license per GPU and an additional license for Nucleus. Our plan involves 7 teams working on different Omniverse apps, each with a dedicated GPU, plus one GPU allocated for streaming clients.

If we go with an OVX server equipped with 8 GPUs, it seems we would need to acquire 9 Omniverse Enterprise licenses. My question is: do we also need to invest in additional software, such as a hypervisor or similar tools, to enable remote connections to the server?

Thanks for the inquiry. Have you applied for an Enterprise license yet? If not, you should do so and then you can ask your specific licensing questions there, once you get through the initial process. NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise and NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise Pricing and Licensing Guide

Let me double check on the specific OVX server. However, when you say 7 teams, that are teams in different physical locations? If so, I would not do an OVX, but just have local hardware where they are located. And then if each team only has one GPU between them, how does that work? Would they not need their own gpu each?

A single OVX server would be ok if you only need 8 concurrent users and each team has very fast internet access to that remote server.
