# open statement problem

In Visual Fortran 2008 using the release version the following appears to run

open(unit=41, file=‘macro3dinp.dat’, status=‘old’,  
& form=‘unformated’)

In the debug mode, with a breakpoint before and after the statement it appears to crash on entering the open statement. That is if either I continue or use F11 (step into) and it crashes.

found the issue. directory info setup wrong.
