Optimus Support

Hi folks,

I am just wondering why there is no Optimus support for Linux yet?
I got a Geforce gtx 765m in my laptop running on Fedora 64 bit. The latest release for this graphics card was releases just a couple days ago. Again without Optimus support. One would have to disable the Intel HD graphics card, which comes with the CPU. The description of the driver says:

in particular, notebook and all-in-one desktop designs with switchable (hybrid) or Optimus graphics will not work if means to disable the integrated graphics in hardware are not available.

I’ve been waiting for about a year with several releases now, and nothing changed at all. So I thought I’ll ask here for some information about it.

Hope you got some info for me on that. Thanks!
