Options for analog inputs for my TX2

Hi,

I see there are no options for analog inputs for the TX2. Could someone share a circuit what i could use to read the value of an LDR through the GPIO?

I need to build a custom PCB and would like the simplest design possible. Im originally thinking of using an LM399 but i would like to hear from others

No circuit can share to you, The GPIO can not read the analog signal.

Yes i know there are no options to read analog signals through the GPIO hence why i wrote: “I see there are no options for analog inputs for the TX2”

However our engineers at work said that an ADC could solve the issue but it will use up more GPIO pins or using i2c but will make the whole thing more complicate.

This is why im asking if anyone else used an ADC for this purpose.

Kinda very sad that an expensive NVIDIA kit does not have analog input just like the cheap $25 arduino of $45 beagle bone. Such a shame.
