Optix -> Raytracing Frustum.


I’m working with a calibrated camera, which requires me to define my own frustum.

I’m aware of the samples showing something similar to gluLookAt in opengl.


but is it possible for me to define my own frustum, similar to how I would in glFrustum?

The ray generation program is where you would define your frustum. There is no one-line command like glFrustum. The downside of this is that you have to do a bit of coding. The upside is that you can create literally any frustum or other projection that you want.

To get started, take a look at pinhole_camera.cu. You can manipulate the frustum in that example using the U, V, and W vectors.
