Orin boot error

I want to boot with Jetson Orin Developer Kit.
However, after the message below appears, it does not boot.

The factory reset method also doesn’t work.

What version of L4T/JetPack are you using?
Does it happen every time you try to boot it up? Or is it a random issue?

  • For other Jetson developer kits that have hardware buttons:
    1. Ensure that the developer kit is powered off.
    2. Press and hold down the Force Recovery button.
    3. Press, then release the Power button.
    4. Release the Force Recovery button.

For AGX Orin, you should see 0955:7023 or 0955:7223 if it correctly enters force recovery mode.

Then maybe you used the wrong port for flashing.
AGX Orin Devkit has two USB-C ports, and only the one next to 40-pin header, not the one above DC jack, is available for flashing.

Can I use the flash port as a micro 5 pin?

Not sure what do you mean, are you talking about Micro USB cable?
You should use either an C-C cable or C-A cable to connect your Jetson device, using the port I mentioned earlier, to your host PC, and then enter force recovery mode for flashing.

generally, we do not support issues related to using virtual machines, and please use a real Ubuntu PC instead. However, a few days ago, a user shared his experience on how to flash Jetson devices using a VM, and maybe you can check if his post helps.
