I was previously using Orin Nano with Jetpack 5 NVME SSD.I upgraded Orin Nano to Jetpack 6 on a new NVMe SSD with SDK.When I try to run Orin Nano with old NVMe SSD with Jetpack 5 installed, the boot fails.

Are you using the devkit or custom board for Orin Nano?
It is expected since the bootloader on your Orin Nano has been updated to Jetpack 6 but you are using the rootfs on NVMe with Jetpack 5.
Please connect the NVMe SSD and reflash again.
I am using devkit. Since the realsense camera did not work well on jetpack 5, I wanted to try it on another nvme with jetpack 6, but the camera was not seen on that. I will continue with jetpack 5 for now. The answer to the question I asked here is that the card upgraded to jetpack 6 cannot be used with jetpack 5 by installing a different ssd.
It is expected that you should use the same Jetpack release for them.
