I press esc to enter setup but failed,it seems that doesn’t work, the same as F11,the orin nx just ignore my control and enter desktop as usual, how can I do?
Are you using the devkit or custom board for Orin NX?
What’s your Jetpack version in use?
Would your mouse/keyboard work after boot up?
Have you also tried using serial console to enter “ESC” to enter UEFI menu?
I’m using custom board,Jetpack version 5.1.1,my keyboard does work after boot up,the way using seria console I didn’t try before, how to do ?
Please also check with the latest JP5.1.2(R35.4.1).
You could get a serial console cable and connect the host to your board.
For the devkit, you could refer to Jetson Nano & NX Style - Serial Debug Console - JetsonHacks.
For the custom carrier board, please check with your HW team or vendor for the debug UART port.
There would be serial console log output from the debug UART, and you could press
ESC when it boot into UEFI stage.
May I try any other way?It is hard for me to get this operation.
Do you mean it is hard for you to get serial console?
You could also just update to JP5.1.2 to verify.
Hi! I try JP5.1.2 today and found that when I using JP5.1.2,when orin starting, the nvidia logo or information to press ESC didn’t show anyway, and orin straightly start up and enter desktop,it seems strange.
How did you flash JP5.1.2(R35.4.1)?
This issue should be fixed in this release.
I just simply using SDKmanager.Should i try other JP version?
This is not the same case as what you met before.
There is a bug in current release that, if display cable is not plugged into the device during flashing, then UEFI boot logo will never show up no matter how many times you reboot it.
Please make sure the display cable is plugged in all the time.
OK so i want to make sure that if JP5.1.1, I should also plug display cable?
I believe this issue is present in all releases after rel-35.
