Orin System Image Restore failurea

Image retrieval is possible and cannot be recovered. Check whether there is a bug in the/nvidia device on the forum and whether there is a solution

Hello,

I’m moving this topic to the Jetson category for visibility.

Hi father,

Are you using the custom board?
I saw you using rtso-1001 as config to flash.
Is that config based on jetson-agx-orin-devkit.conf?

Do you want flashing image into internal eMMC or external device (e.g. NVMe, SD card, USB drive)?

Okay, let me transfer

Yes, based on the Jetson-agx-orin-devkit.conf reference, we use the orin module as the core, and xavier is OK, but this problem occurs after upgrading to orin

How do you upgrade from Xavier to Orin?
Do you use the same carrier board for both Xavier and Orin?

Please also help to provide flash log and serial console log for further check.

It is indeed the same, but the adapted orin can only extract images and cannot be recovered. The xavier is normal. The 351 version has problems. Please check the attached recovery log

I can’t not see your log file.
Please make sure that you upload the file successfully.

What command did you run for this?
Could you provide the steps you do for backup and restore the image on Orin?

For your case, do you use the following command to create clone.img?

$ sudo ./flash.sh -r -k APP -G clone.img rtso-1001 mmcblk0p1

I’ve seen the following error from your flash log.

E> NV3P_SERVER: Could not write 1048576 bytes.

Please refer to the following thread to modify allocation_attribute of APP from 0x8 to 0x808.
Failure to flash Orin with cloned system.img - #8 by KevinFFF

thank you,可以了
