Hi Chang,
so are you saying i should do boot loader update first then i should do dtb-update for my customize board?
hello anupam.kumar,
this package, nvidia-l4t-kernel-dtbs
, it only update the device tree blob to the filesystem
you should also have nvidia-l4t-bootloader
, to do the partition (i.e. kernel-dtb) updates,
hence,
you’ll need to made these two debian packages, nvidia-l4t-kernel-dtbs
and nvidia-l4t-bootloader
, to include your device tree blob for a complete OTA update process.
thanks
Hi Jerry,
Can you please tell, how we can build this package nvidia-l4t-bootloader
for my custom board.
how we can update bootloader??can you please help here
hello anupam.kumar,
please install BUP files to update Bootloader,
for example, for Jetson-TX2 series,
To install: /opt/ota_package/t18x/bl_only_payload
To update: /opt/ota_package/t18x/bl_update_payload
you should also check Generating the Bootloader Update Payload (BUP) for the steps to work with build_l4t_bup.sh
.
note,
there’re two versions of the nvidia-l4t-bootloader
package, you should use t186 if you’re working with TX2 and Xavier series.
thanks
