There are many topics about ov5647 camera (RPI v1.3) that is generally not supported on Jetsons (except https://jas-hacks.blogspot.com/ and RidgeRun driver). But all topic are based on old Jetpack version. In Jetpack 5 in the source of kernel 5.10 there is implementation for ov5647 (kernel-5.10/drivers/media/i2c/ov5647.c).
Is it possible to run this camera on Jetpack 5.1 (XavierNX) and what updates need to be done? (custom device tree maybe)

this is currently not supported by default, this driver is not included in the native Jetpack release image.
you may bring-up this driver by your own. please refer to tutorial video, V4L2 Sensor Driver Development Tutorial.
