the locathost login as shown in your tutorial causes the following error.

solved it. nucleus needs to be installed

Same problem here I think. Where can I find / install nucleus?

You install it from the Collaboration tab in the Launcher.

@Brian - Thanks I can sign in now, but still not transfer a model from SketchUp to Omniverse View. I create a new topic.
