Almost every time I wake my computer from sleep, the screens remain black. The system is on and alive, but there is nothing being displayed. The only “fix” is to press down on my PC’s power button and force it to shutdown. Unplugging monitors and plugging them back in does not work. This has happened across multiple driver versions.
The error I see in when running journalctl -b -1 is: kwin_wayland_drm: Pageflip timed out! This is a bug in the nvidia-drm kernel driver kwin_wayland_drm: Please report this at https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/c/gpu-graphics/linux kwin_wayland_drm: With the output of 'sudo dmesg' and 'journalctl --user-unit plasma-kwin_wayland --boot 0'
I’ve attached the output of sudo dmesg and journalctl --user-unit plamsa-kwin_wayland --boot 0.

I have the same issue. Screen remains black after waking up the computer from sleep. Changing TTY helps to fix this issue. Tried proprietary and open driver versions from RPMFusion repository.
Hello, I’m on driver 595.45.04 with the latest version of Bazzite, and I’m getting this issue as well. I was able to get into the system by typing my password on a blank screen upon waking up and then using Ctrl+Alt+F3 to switch to a text based terminal and back, which works to reset screen detection. Attached are all the relevant logs
I ran 50 cycles of suspend/resume operation via systemctl suspend and GUI option while runnig youtube videos on firefox browser but did not observe reported “pageflip timed out error” after resume operation.
