Paintshop Pro X6 and DDS plugin

Since upgrading to PSP X6, whenever I open a DDS without loading mipmaps I get a rather bizarre result where the DDS becomes repeated rows of the bottom portion. For example, a 512x512 DDS will show up as four 128x512 images stacked on top of each other, with each image being the bottom 1/4 of the actual DDS.

Does the plugin need a fix, or does Corel need to fix something?

The NVIDIA photoshop texture tool has only been tested on Photoshop CS4 and above. Let me try to reproduce this problem and see whether is there any quick resolution for this.
