Please let the developer kit enter recovery mode. You can run $ lsusb to check whether it is in recovery mode. And run the command:

$ sudo ./flash.sh --read-info jetson-orin-nano-devkit internal

To check if you can read the information successfully.

For Orin Nano we suggest use initrd command to flash the device:

Looks like the module may be physically broken. Please use latest Jetpack(r36.4.3) and run the same command, if it fails still, please go RMA process if it is in warranty.

The flash command you are using is wrong. Could you try to flash your board by sdkmanager directly?

It is automation tool which will directly use the correct command to flash.

There is a ā€œexport logsā€ button in sdkmanager. Please use that to dump out the log but not such copy & paste.

Also, please check the serial log from the device side when this error happened.

What we are doing here is bypass the error to make you able to flash and boot up first.

After you boot up, you need to go back and modify the content in the eeprom.

Just to clarify. I don’t know how much experience you have with Jetson.

What I feel here is you don’t know how to operate the board.

You could start with reading this post first.

Enable the serial console log and see what is the status of your board first.

My previous guidance is for Orin AGX only. flash.sh won’t fully work with Orin Nano/NX because flash.sh cannot flash external storage like NVMe or USB SSD.
