Using latest USD Composer 2023.2.5. Here i have animated skeletal mesh, and a cape i want to apply cloth physics on. Encountered a problem i didn’t manage to fix - whenever i apply particle cloth physics to this cape, and then attachment (create - physics - attachment), the attachment simply does not follow the skeletal animation for some reason. Any suggestions? What’s the proper approach for this case?
I can check but binding a physics sim to a USDSKEL is not possible. We are not focused on character work. Whilst we support USDSKEL we do not attempt to integrate characters into our other systems.
