Partner carrier boards - Power metrics compatibility

I am going to work on something that requires me to measure the power consumption of the device. Unfortunately, the official dev boards are out of stock where ever I search. So, I was thinking about buying a partner-made dev kit instead of the official one like the ones at the end of this post.

I am curious about what effect will this cause on the power reported by the the onboard power measurement ICs connected through i2c (indirectly the tegrastats utility).

The power monitors on module will report the power consumption of module only. The real power consumption depends on detail use case.
