Patent fees for h264/h265

I have a question about the licensing of the gstreamer plugin used in DeepStreamSDK to perform H264/H265 decoding/encoding.
Specifically, the following plugins

Am I correct in understanding that if I use these plug-ins for commercial use, I need to implement payment of the H264/H265 patent royalties?

this is something I cannot answer. Usually any NVIDIA SDK will include very specific licensing explanations which when in doubt you should discuss with legal council.

But maybe the experts in the DeepStream category can give you a better answer, so I will move this topic to their domain.

Correct. It will be responsibility of the developer to secure commercial license for H.264/265 codecs.
