PCAN-miniPCIe FD Card detection issus

Hi,

I wanted to use PCAN-miniPCIe FD Card on the xavier devkit with jetpack4.4.
However, no matter reboot or poweron, there was a probability that no PEAK device detected when checking by lspci.

Later, I tested that the same card could be always detected on x86 Linux with kernel-4.9.

I had no idea what may be the cause of this?

Could you please provide more information about this ‘PCAN-miniPCIe FD card’?
Jetson-AGX doesn’t have a miniPCIe slot. It has only CEM-x16 slot (with active x8 lanes) and M.2 Key-M and M.2 Key-E slots. Wondering if you are connecting your card through any adapters? It would be good if you can describe your setup more.

Hi,

Thank you for reply.

I can get the information of the card only from PCAN-miniPCIe FD: PEAK-System.

I found my issue similar to M.2 Key M Device not always recognized

Is there any progress in that issue?

I just updated the other thread also. If the issue is really to do with the REFCLK amplitudes, there isn’t much that we can do here as the customer base boards are not in our control and we are not sure whether they are designed adhering to the design guidelines published by Nvidia.

Hi,

Could you post the link to the thread you mentioned above?
Thanks.

Its the same thread M.2 Key M Device not always recognized that you quoted above.

Hi,

Thank you.

My probule is caused by the power supply.
The PCAN-miniPCIe FD Card needs both 1.5v and 3.3v and the 1.5v is not available on my custom card.
