PCI-Express runtime D3 power management broken by commit 4d03e3cc59828(?)

I am on Arch, having the same issue. However, the workaround is not working for me.

Neither do I have the “kernel read not supported” errors in my journal, nor does reading the config make my card going to sleep :(

what is your card and what cpu, also you have to have options nvidia "NVreg_DynamicPowerManagement=0x02"

I have to correct my statement.

It seems to work for me now (after updating and rebooting the system), however I doubt that this was the reason. Currently my impression is, that I am only getting the “kernel read not supported” messages after suspending the system once. But yet to be verified.

I have all recommended udev-rules and kernel module parameters set up, yes!

fixed in 460.39

Can you post a source for this information please? In official announcements, I cannot see 460.39.

Thank you

I’m working on the forum announcement post now.
