I have inserted a NIC into the PCIe port and I can’t seem to find out how to make sure that the OS knows that it is present. How do I do that?

If you never knew this info before, it means your jetpack version is probably old. Better flashing a new version to test.
I just got the Orin board a few months ago, but here’s what I got:

There is no update from you for a period, assuming this is not an issue any more.
