is the Tensor Core technology of any benefit for Optix, and if so, what kind of performance boost do we have to expect?
We are seeing good speedups in going from Pascal to Volta. It depends very much on use case and work loads, but most commonly we see a speedup of somewhere in the ballpark of 40% for GP00 to Titan V. I have seen 100% speedup in some cases and 20% in others. The speedup is due to a number of varying hardware changes that are friendly to ray-tracing.
