Pg-gpu-t194 warning

I see this warning on my Xavier NX. What does this mean? Is this something I should be concerned about?

WARNING: at platform/drivers/pg/pg-gpu-t194.c:185

hello jasaw81,

may I know which JetPack release you’re working with, thanks

Jetpack 4.6 rev2

hello jasaw81,

may I know what’s the modification you’ve done?
I don’t see such warning logs pop-up with reference platform.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but this appears to be a warning from the kernel. On the kernel, I haven’t changed anything, but I used a newer version of toolchain (7.5.0) to cross compile the kernel rather than the Linaro 7.3.1.

Can someone please explain to me what that warning means?

hello jasaw81,

actually, it’s bpmp-fw (not kernel) warning messages.
this is due to GPU rail gating, it should be whitelisted and you may consider this is harmless.
thanks

Can you please explain what GPU rail gating is?
Exactly how do I whitelist and exactly what do I need to whitelist?
or is your recommendation to simply ignore this warning?

hello jasaw81,

please ignore this warning messages.
