Pgfortran on K10 gpu?

will the modern versions of pgfortran run openacc on an (old) K10 gpu?

No. Once the underlying CUDA tools discontinue support for an architecture, we’re no longer able to support it.

PGI 17.10 was the last release to support K10 (cc30).

Ah ok thanks that’s useful - so I could I still download and use the old 17.10 version?

Am I right in thinking you have to buy license for the older versions but not the new version(s) ?

Correct. The PGI compilers are license managed but we changed this to accent to the license during download this when we re-branded to NVHPC. If you had a PGI license, then you can access archived releases via your customer portal on pgroup.com.
